| Toyota Sports Center, formerly the HealthSouth Training Center, is the home ice of the Los Angeles Jr. Kings and is located just off the LA International Airport. This venue is the practice facility for the NHL Los Angeles Kings and ice rinks just don’t get much better. Toyota houses two sheets of ice (though only one with arena seating), an excellent pro shop/souvenir store, full service snack bar (including beer) with seating areas that have televisions tuned in to sports. If you can manage to get all your games there, DO it. From the steps going downstairs, you can sometimes peek through the window into the Lakers' practice facility. Due to its high profile, Toyota Sports Center invariably hosts SCAHA, CAHA and Pacific District Championships. During the NHL season, visitors are often treated to watching the LA Kings go throught their practice routine. |
