| The CMM.com staff has been working on this project for several years. It started as a simple list of rink addresses and phone numbers, expanded for driving directions, then an overall facility review, including a grade ranging from A+ to F. Now the final step to a full blown comprehensive directory. We've attempted to record our observations from nine years of making weekly pilgrimages to the ice palaces around Southern California. Looking back, the roll call of venues that closed its doors in that period is surprisingly long: Costa Mesa Ice Chalet, Huntington Beach SkateZone, Lake Arrowhead Blue Jay, North Hills Iceoplex, Palm Desert City Skate and Sylmar Iceon.
